Master Planned Communities
Insite Strategies has extensive expertise and experience in the approvals phase of major master planned projects. Typical services include preparation of supporting documents including Plans of Development, Development Assessment Reports, Response to Information Requests, Requests for Negotiated Decision Notices; applications under s242 of SPA (s3.1.6 of IPA); Reconfiguring a Lot applications; coordination of other specialists including engineering, environmental, urban design and economic consultants; negotiating issues with state and local government agencies and in some instances political and media liaison.
Completed Projects²
- Kensington Lakes master planned community — 184 Ha site Bundaberg;
- Celebration master planned community — Approximately 2000 Ha site (former Beaudesert Shire). Now owned by Delfin Lend Lease and renamed Yarrabilba;
- Springfield master planned community, broad structure planning and concept design — approx 2500 ha site (Ipswich City);
- Earl Hill master planned community ( 840 ha Cairns City);
- Royal Reef Master Planned Community (940 ha Cairns City);
- Neiafu master plan (Tonga) — EEC aid project (awarded certificate of merit RAPI awards for excellence);
- Dubai master plan (UAE) — master plan for expansion of the city based on canals;
- Bundaberg Regional Aerospace Precinct master plan — master plan and approvals for air based industry and airport upgrades for Bundaberg Regional Council;
- North Bundaberg Industry Park — master planning and preliminary approvals for high tech industry park.
